The next closing date for applications to the Coalfields Community Investment Programme is Wednesday 17th August 2016.
Through the programme, community and voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises in Scotland’s coalfield communities can apply for grants of up to £15,000 to tackle some of the key challenges that still remain in coalfield communities.
In order to be eligible for funding, projects should address one or more of the following themes: skills, employment, or health.
The Coalfields Community Investment Programme comprises of Coalfields Small Grants, which offers £500 to £5,000 for eligible organisations operating in eligible coalfield areas, and Coalfields Growth Fund, which has up to £15,000 for development projects from anchor organisations (groups who have produced a Coalfields Community Futures Action Plan).
