The Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) is open for applications.
The CCF provides grants and support for community-led organisations to tackle climate change by running projects that reduce local carbon emissions, with initiatives including energy efficiency, sustainable travel, local food and resource efficiency.
Community-led organisations not currently in receipt of a CCF grant are invited to apply for funding of up to £150,000 per organisation, per year for 2019/20 and 2020/21. For 2019/20, some CCF Grant Recipients will receive match funding from the European Regional Development Fund, part of the European Structural and Investment Fund.

There will also be a Falkirk information surgery on Thursday 12th July, 10am – 2pm at Callendar House, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1YR. Registration begins at 9:45am. The information surgery will include presentations from Keep Scotland Beautiful and updates from current CCF recipients, along with the opportunity for attendees to take part in a Q&A session, and to talk through projects ideas on a one-to-one basis with CCF staff and partners.
The deadline for Expression of Interests, the first stage of the application process, is 5pm on Friday 3rd August.
