Work Place Chaplaincy Scotland is a national non-denominational Christian chaplaincy with over 100 volunteer chaplains and managed by 14 chaplaincy staff. They are currently looking for volunteer chaplains.
Work Place Chaplaincy Scotland (WPCS) provides a listening ear, training and confidential pastoral support to staff, of any faith or none, in over 2000 workplaces through its volunteer chaplains across Scotland. Trained chaplains visit workplaces in an agreed pattern and frequency, liaising closely with management, unions and workers, but remaining independent of structures and influence.
Volunteer chaplains will be engaged in supporting workplace staff across different sectors of the economy in their area with a listening ear and pastoral support.
A 6 month induction including training and shadowing will be given to each volunteer. This will be followed by further training and pastoral support from chaplains and home church.
This opportunity takes place across Falkirk, and is open to those over the age of 18 with volunteers being asked to give 4 hours each week.
