As you may know, CVS Falkirk facilitates several third sector forums. The purpose of these is to provide Falkirk’s third sector with the opportunity to discuss and debate issues, share knowledge, experience and practices, and to have a stronger, more coherent voice in the Community Planning process and beyond.
Over the next couple of months, we are making changes in the way we communicate with colleagues about the forums. From Saturday 1st April 2017, we will no longer email colleagues about forum meetings, but utilising the CVS Falkirk e-bulletin, dedicated forum webpages and the new online discussion boards to share information about the forum meetings.
Articles in the CVS e-bulletin will be published when forum agendas and minutes are added to the dedicated forum webpages. This is also where you will find presentations from meetings and the dates of upcoming meetings:
- Community Care & Health Forum
- Community Transport Forum
- Connecting Volunteering Forum
- Economic Resilience & Employment Forum
- Safer Communities Forum
- Tackling Poverty Forum
- Voluntary Sector Children’s Services Forum
Special e-bulletins will be published quarterly as a reminder of upcoming forum meetings.
We will also post on the online discussion boards when agendas and minutes are published. The online discussion boards can also be used to continue conversations from the forum meetings, raise areas of interest, issues or queries between meetings, or if there is a particular subject area you would like to see on the agenda of an upcoming forum meeting, you can raise it on the online discussion boards.
If you have any queries or issues around the new forum communications, please contact David Gardener, Development Officer – Policy, Research and Community Planning by phone: 01324 692010, or email: David@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
We look forward to welcoming you to a forum meeting in the near future.
