Change Grow Live (CGL) supports people in the Forth Valley area who are recovering, or are in recovery, from substance use. They are recruiting for Volunteer Befrienders who would like to support their service users in the Falkirk area. This role has a closing date of Friday 11th June.
Volunteer Befrienders will:
- support service users on a 1:1 basis, including telephone and face to face
- support service users to increase their confidence, empowering and supporting them to achieve their goals
- gain an understanding of what support is available in local communities
- keep CGL updated by providing verbal and written feedback
