Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership Free Courses at the Open University

The Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership (CVSL) are offering free courses at the Open University, including introductions to the third sector and volunteering.

CVSL also aims to provide third sector organisations with access to free leadership development modules and research-led insight. Leadership modules are available from the end of October.

Al Masaar Sessional Worker Vacancy

Al Masaar is currently recruiting a sessional worker for the Wee Steps Project.

The position 5 hours per week, with a wage of £10 per hour and a 12 month contract, funded by the Corra Foundation. The worker will organise weekly support sessions, and provide development strategies for mothers and their children, amongst others. Please note that due to the nature of this role, it is reserved for women only, under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The deadline for applications is Saturday 15th February.

Denny Community Support Group Community Resource Worker Vacancy

Denny Community Support Group is currently recruiting a Community Resource Worker. The position is 18 hours per week, with a wage of £10.83 per hour and a fixed term contract of 6 months, based in Denny. The successful candidate will be subject to a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check, and co-ordinate the day to day operation and management of the Denny Community Flat. The closing date for applications is Friday 7th February.

Tamfourhill TRO Community Coach Vacancy

Tamfourhill Tenants and Residents Organisation (TRO) is currently recruiting a Community Coach for their Falkirk service. The position is a fixed term contract over 3 years, with a salary of £26,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be subject to a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Thursday 6th February.
