CEMVO Scotland is a national intermediary organisation and strategic partner of the Scottish Government Equality Unit. Their aim is to build the capacity and sustainability of the ethnic minority voluntary sector and its communities.
They are advertising an exciting opportunity through their Energy Saving For All project support, which aims to provide ethnic-minority communities with free and impartial energy advice – to help make homes warmer, reduce energy use, lower bills, and cut down on carbon emissions.
What They Offer:
Advice Sessions: Free and impartial advice sessions (around 1-2 hours) in the form of group presentations or casual one-to-one conversations at stalls—whichever works best for your community.
Financial Thank-You: For groups that book their services, they offer a group support payment up to £220 (dependant on the number of attendees – and starting at £70).
Freebies and Warm Packs: Attendees can receive well-being freebies (self-hygiene products) and request a free warm pack (energy-saving products) to be sent to their home. CEMVO can also make referrals for further support wherever needed.
