VOLUNTEERS WEEK 2024
With Volunteers Week (3rd – 9th June) is fast approaching, we’d love to help you celebrate the efforts of your volunteers and, like previous years, we are offering Volunteer Certificates for organisations to use as part of their own celebrations. Certificates will be provided blank for you to fill in your volunteers’ details.
We are excited to announce that we will also be running the Volunteer Awards again this year. This is a great opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution of individuals and volunteering-involving organisations. The award categories for this year are:
- Volunteer of the Year (a volunteer that has made an outstanding contribution, 25+)
- Young Volunteer of the Year (a volunteer that has made an outstanding contribution, under 25)
- Lifetime Achievement Award (an individual volunteer who has volunteered for much of their lifetime)
- Organisation of the Year (an organisation that has made a significant impact)
- Innovative Organisation of the Year (an organisation that has found new or creative ways to improve or overcome current challenges)
- Outstanding Achievement in Health & Wellbeing (an organisation that has made a significant improvement to the health and wellbeing of people in Falkirk & District)
Category winners and their nominators will be invited to attend a celebratory afternoon tea with us on Thursday 9th June, where we will present winners with their awards.
The deadline for both submissions is Monday 22nd of April. Please submit nominations using the online form here, and certificate requests should be sent to info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk.
