Cats Protection Sales Assistant Volunteer

Cats Protection Charity Shop Falkirk are looking for friendly and outgoing sales assistant volunteers.

Volunteer duties involve helping with the sorting and pricing of donations, stock rotation and completing cashier duties. Volunteers may be required to work with young people and would learn how to handle money. Volunteers will be trained in all areas of retail and have the opportunity to gain customer service skills.

FVMSN Learn Together Project Co-ordinator

Forth Valley Migrant Support Network (FVMSN) are currently recruiting a self-employed Learn Together Project Co-ordinator. The position is 12 hours per week across Falkirk and Grangemouth, with a wage of £9 per hour and a fixed term contract until August 2019. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 24th August. Please note that due to the nature of this role, it is reserved for women only, under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

CVS Falkirk Project Development Officer Vacancy

In partnership with Falkirk Council, we at CVS Falkirk are recruiting a Development Officer to develop and deliver our new Improving Employability Through Volunteering project. The position is 35 hours per week, with a salary of £25,000 and a fixed term contract until October 2020. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 14th September.

Community Planning and BME Involvement Survey

The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) has launched an online study, funded by the Scottish Government, which is looking to better understand black and minority ethnic (BME) involvement with community planning, and particularly the type of involvement which relates to Community Planning Partnerships (CPP) responsibilities under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
