With this week also being Carers Week (running until Sunday 11th June), local resources and events have been spotlighted throughout the Falkirk District.
- The Young Adult Carers project for Falkirk and Clackmannanshire has been sharing young carers’ stories on their Facebook page (linked for your convenience).
- Following their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this week, the Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre has released their Annual Report video.
- The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has highlighted their information page for carers, which includes how to request a Home Fire Safety Visit for someone you care for, and their carers guide to Supporting Fire Safety in the Home.
- The Carers Week campaign has released their 2023 report on unpaid carer identification, which estimates there are 900,000 people who are unpaid carers in Scotland.
