Bookings are now open for the next Information Afternoon for Professionals from Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre, taking place on Wednesday 17^th May, 2pm – 4:30pm (in-person at the Carers Centre, 1A Bank Street, Falkirk, FK1 1NB, and via Zoom).

These sessions cover some of the aims of the online (Turas) EPiC Training programme and National Occupational Standards (as outlined in the Competency Framework for health and social care staff), and how the Carers Centre can help organisations support unpaid carers.

Sessions are open to professionals looking to learn more about carers, the Carers Centre and their work, and the support available for carers (including how carers can access an Adult Carer Support Plan or a Young Carers Statement). The sessions are also suitable for students on placements, as well as staff and new starts who may come into contact with carers.
