The Bupa UK Foundation will open its funding programmes for applications again at the end of June 2016.
The Foundation’s funding programmes are developed around clearly defined themes, and focus on important factors that underpin good health, including mental health, ageing well, the prevention of long-term conditions, and behaviour change to improve health and wellbeing.
The Foundation also has a strong interest in addressing health conditions that can affect everyone, such as heart health, cancer, Type 2 diabetes and dementia.
In previous funding rounds, the Foundation made grants of up to £10,000 for smaller projects delivered at local level to directly benefit a specific group, up to £50,000 for distinct one-off projects (which might include pilots of new models of care or initiatives designed to benefit clearly defined groups), and over £50,000 for projects that have a broad reach and the potential to deliver a sustained impact
The previous programme theme was Mid-Life Mental Health; the theme for the new round of funding will be announced shortly.
