Momentum Works is a peer-led service from Bipolar Scotland which supports people at an early stage of their journey with bipolar, helping them to feel more confident at work or study.
The service aims to help people find practical ways to stay well, advocate for what they need, and move forward without feeling limited by their diagnosis. Support is delivered by trained peer support workers and peer volunteers with lived experience. Areas covered by the service include: returning to work after an absence; preparing to return to work, study or both; managing work and study together; exploring self-employment, or freelancing; uncertainties about balancing work and wellbeing; struggles with particular workplace issues.
