The Falkirk Community Planning Partnership (CPP) is holding a Bainsford and Langlees Community Action Plan Launch Event on Wednesday 7th December, 2:30pm – 7pm, at Bainsford Community Hall, Davids Loan, Bainsford, FK2 7JS.
The event is drop-in, with no booking required, and tables set up round the hall for people to have their say on the Community Action Plan (CAP), including stalls from a number of local groups, organisations and services, who will share what is happening in the area.
Community Action Plans are used by local people to help identify local priorities, what really matters to them and their communities.
The priority areas included in the CAP, previously identified by Bainsford and Langlees residents, are:
- Community Substance Use Concerns
- A Safer Community
- Things to Do
- Tidying Outdoor Spaces
- Transport & Roads
- Poverty
There will be photo boards set up to display posters regarding each of the priority areas; during the launch event, community members will be asked to help Falkirk CPP prioritise the actions for each priority area, using coloured dots.
