In partnership with Skills Development Scotland, Prudential will be delivering three events in Forth Valley on Thursday 9th March 2017 to encourage applications onto their Modern Apprenticeship programme for 2017/2018.
Muiravonside Country Park are running monthly volunteering sessions to improve the local park by helping the Countryside Ranger with different conservation and access tasks. Sessions will take place 10am – 3pm on the following dates: Wednesday 29th March, Wednesday 19th April, and Wednesday 31st May.

Help the Homeless is a national charity which aims to help homeless people to resume a normal life. Funding of up to £5,000 is available to small and medium sized charities and voluntary organisations towards capital costs supporting projects. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 15th March.

Scottish Care have arranged for Dr Sue Newbury to attend a workshop on Thursday 9th February, from 9:30am at Glenbervie Care Home, Glenbervie Business Park, Bellsdyke Road, Larbert, FK5 4RB. The workshop will look into ways to provide standardised basic training to staff from care and service providers, achieving parity across training for care staff in Falkirk.
Falkirk Carers Forum meets four time a year and provides an opportunity for local carers to discuss local and national issues that affect carers and those they care for. They have released their meeting dates for 2017.
