Addictions, Support and Counselling (ASC) provides a range of counselling, community rehabilitation and recovery development services for people affected by substance misuse to help them on their recovery journey. We are seeking an experienced and competent practitioner to join us in providing high quality and effective services across our organisation.
They are currently recruiting an Addictions Worker.
The position is 28 hours per week, with a salary of £23,697 – £26,235 pro rata, and based in Stirling and Falkirk, working across Forth Valley.
Applicants should have a recognised professional counselling qualification at a minimum of SVQ level 4, a recognised award in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and be familiar with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Codes of Practice for employees and employers.
The successful candidate will be passionate about recovery, with a good track record in providing CBT interventions. They should also be competent in undertaking assessments, participating in and facilitating group work and working with service users to develop effective recovery plans.
Additionally, applicants should be comfortable with multi-agency working, and familiar with working under tight deadlines.
