Addiction Support and Counselling (ASC) provide a range of counselling, community rehabilitation and recovery development services for people affected by substance misuse to help them on their recovery journey.
They are currently recruiting an Addictions Worker. The post is 28 hours per week, with a salary of £23,697 – £26,235 (pro rata), and is based in Stirling and Falkirk, working across the Forth Valley area.
Applicants should have a recognised professional counselling qualification at a minimum of SVQ level 4, a recognised award in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and be familiar with the SSSC Codes of Practice for employees and employers.
They should also be comfortable with multi-agency working, working under tight deadlines, and be passionate about recovery, with a good track record in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions.
The successful candidate will be competent in undertaking assessments, participating in and facilitating group work and working with service users to develop effective recovery plans.
