Scottish Government analysts invite third sector organisations in Scotland to submit bids for short projects (up to 10 person days) where statistical or analytical skills could make a difference to their organisation.
Individuals or small groups of Scottish Government analysts (one or two people) will work with successful organisations as analytical consultants, to help solve problems within the organisation. There is no cost to the organisation.
This will be the scheme’s sixth consecutive year. Throughout this time, Scottish Government analysts have supported around 100 projects through this scheme, providing over 350 days of support to third sector organisations. Most projects related to:
- evaluation methodologies – how to measure success
- bringing together evidence around a subject
- data management and making the most of data collected
Analysts can also look at other issues, such as data visualisation, or how significant problems are structured.
Due to high levels of interest last year, prioritisation may occur, and shorter pieces of work may be favoured to maximise the spread of the scheme.
To submit your bid, please complete the application form. Completed applications should be sent before Friday 3rd March to Roger Halliday by email: email@example.com
