Dementia Awareness Week 2018 runs Monday 4th June – Sunday 10th June, aiming to generate maximum exposure around dementia and change how Scotland talks about and sees dementia. The 2018 key theme is “Making Sure Nobody Faces Dementia Alone”.
Those looking to raise awareness during Dementia Awareness Week can request publications and materials from Alzheimer Scotland as part of any activities, promotion or information events.
As part of their own activities, Alzheimer Scotland are holding an open day event on Saturday 9th June, 10am – 2pm at The Maples, 33 Johnston Avenue, Stenhousemuir, FK5 4JZ. Attendees can meet the Falkirk staff and volunteers, and see the newly refurbished Day Care Centre.
