Falkirk’s Public Protection Partnership is undertaking a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis of the local workforce dealing with the protection of adults and children, and has opened a short online survey to gather as much feedback as possible.
In addition to staff with specific or intensive contact with vulnerable adults and children, the survey also specifically aims to reach those who may have more general contact, where that might not be an individual’s main purpose or activity. This might include volunteers that work within teams.
In order to ensure that the training needs of all staff and volunteers, this survey is designed so that all participants can feedback on their knowledge, skills, experience, and training to help identify further training needs. The survey should take only 10 minutes to complete.
The information gathered will be used to inform and develop an Adult Protection training plan, which will be available by October 2019 and will ensure a range of free and accessible training on public protection.
The deadline for responses is Friday 16th August.
