The local Falkirk Community Support Fund has been established through funds from the Supporting Communities Fund. This is part of the Scottish Government’s £350 million Covid-19 investment package to provide financial support for local communities and households targeted through community anchor organisations, working in partnership with others in the community and with public services, in co-ordinating local responses to the pandemic.
The monies are available for new or extended activity in the community that is being delivered solely in response to the Covid-19 pandemic which supports all members of the community experiencing challenge as a result of the pandemic.
This is a Local Covid-19 Response Support source that offers your organisation a quick and unrestricted income for overheads, activity and equipment costs that are not already met by other funds. This fund offers you a period of 3 months of these costs to carry out emergency support activities between 1st May 2020 – 31st July 2020.
