Applications for the 2021 Scottish Charity Awards are now open.
Organised by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the awards celebrate the vital work carried out by Scotland’s third sector, with third sector groups and organisations, as well as individual people, welcome to nominate or apply.
This year’s categories are:
- Employee of the Year
- Trustee of the Year
- Community Action
- Campaign of the Year
- Charity of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Digital Citizen
- Pioneering Project
- Climate Conscious
The winners will be decided by an independent panel of judges.
All finalists from these categories will also be entered into the running for the People’s Choice Award, which allows members of the public a chance to vote for their favourite finalist.
For the last 2 years, the Awards have been held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic; SCVO has also announced the return of the in-person ceremony, hosted by Sally Magnusson, at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza hotel on Wednesday 15th June (restrictions and safety considerations permitting).
The deadline for nominations and applications to the Scottish Charity Awards is 12pm on Friday 18th March.
To apply, or to nominate a group or person for an award, please visit the Scottish Charity Awards page.
