With less than 3 weeks to go, now is your chance to register to attend CVS Falkirk in partnership with Falkirk Council’s FREE Funders event the Tuesday 8th March 2016.
The event will take place at the Bowhouse Community Centre, 130 Bowhouse Road, Grangemouth, FK3 0EU.
In a climate of public service cuts and the impact this is likely to have on the third sector, it is vital now more than ever that charities and voluntary groups are more effective in identifying quality sources for funding.
The Funders Fayre is designed to give third sector, charity and voluntary organisations the opportunity to meet with a range of diverse funders and to learn about the various grant funding schemes that are available.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to obtain information on how to apply and learn about the criteria funders use when assessing applications.
Funders on the day will include:
- Falkirk Council
- The Big Lottery
- SportScotland
- Bank of Scotland Foundation
- Robertson Trust
- LEADER
- Tesco – Greenspace
- Falkirk Environmental Trust
- Falkirk Schools Charity Board
- School for Social Entrepreneurs – Scotland
- Sons of the Rock Society
- Heritage Lottery Fund
- Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
- Charity Bank
- Falkirk Football Foundation
- Voluntary Action Fund
- Foundation Scotland
- BBC Children in Need
- Action Earth
- Localgiving.com
For many charities and voluntary organisations securing timely grant funding can mean the difference between whether or not they are able to continue providing support. We hope by attending this event third sector organisations can identify funding opportunities to help them deliver new projects or for the continuation of existing services.
Entry is open throughout the day between 10.00am to 4.00pm – attendance is through prior registration by visiting the Eventbrite website.
* A 30 minute lunch break will be held between 12.30pm to 1.00pm *
