Management Committee Member
Brief description: The committee are looking to recruit new members, ensuring the organisation can continue to provide high quality services and be sustained long term.
Full description: The committee meets 8 times per annum, the committee plans the secure future of the organisation contributing actively to the Committe Members role in giving firm strategic direction to the organisation, setting policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance. As a volunteer you will have the staisfaction of doing something worthwhile, a sense of achievement, increased knowledge which will help towards personal developments, a widening of your social network, learning new skills and using existing skills.
Skills Required: Respect confidentiality, a good communicator, legal experience, a team worker, managing budgets, a good listener and non-judgemental.
Minimum age: None specified
Takes place: 2 hours per month.
2 years minimum commitment.
Training and Support Information on training to be discussed with the organisation.
Expenses 40p per mile.
Other expenses will be met if the volunteer requires to attend a conference, training etc.
Reimbursed on a monthly basis.
