VACANCIES at the CVS and Volunteer Centre

The Council for the Voluntary Sector and Volunteer Centre for the Falkirk Council area supports, develops and represents the community and voluntary sector in the local area. The area has in excess of 800 organisations and over 28,000 volunteers serving a population of over 150,000 people. As part of our continued growth and development we are seeking to recruit to the following core posts:

Voluntary Sector Development Manager
£30,006 -£32,763 plus 6% pension contribution (35 hours per week)

Leading on all aspects of the voluntary sector development team's programme of work, you will be a first class communicator and manager with a thorough understanding of community development and partnership working. You will play a central role in the corporate management team, delegating for the Chief Executive when necessary.

Social Enterprise Development Officer
£13,849 - £15,330 plus 6% pension contribution (21 hours per week)

You will have a clear understanding of the nature and contribution of social enterprises, possessing the skills and experience to promote and support the development of new and established enterprises.

Youth Volunteering Development Officer
£13,849 - £15,330 plus 6% pension contribution (21 hours per week)

You will be passionate about and understand the many benefits volunteering can bring people of all ages, particularly young people. You will promote volunteering amongst young people, encourage and support organisations to recruit young volunteers and promote recognition of youth volunteering.
