What is a Case Study?
Case Studies are a great way to showcase the work of volunteers, communities and third sector organisations. They help to inspire and share good practice. If you've got good news to share, or have done something differently then please get in touch and we'll develop a case study of what you've done.
What do we do with Case Studies?
Ideally, we want to have it read by many people and to do this we have 4 key ways of sharing case studies:
• On our website - on this page and in other relevant pages across the site;
• In our newsletters (Inform and Volunteering Matters);
• In the Falkirk Herald - we work well with the Falkirk Herald to help promote successes within the third sector;
• Case Study Briefing Sheets - we produce these to give out at events and in relevant training courses.
We often feature an organisation and what it has been doing in Inform or Volunteer Matters our newsletters.
Making a difference
Like any organisation we are always looking at ways of showing the impact of our work and support to the local sector. Case studies are one way that we can demonstrate our impact. In this section we will feature case studies that show the difference our support has made to local groups and organisations.
If you want to know more about making a difference and showing the impact of your work then please get in touch with us. We have developed expertise and resources to help do this, some of them developed in partnership with Evaluation Support Scotland. We also provide training on outcomes and evaluation. Our training sessions represent very good value for money and are highly rated by those who attend. Find out more by visiting our training section.
