CVS and VC E-bulletins

We produce two e-mail bulletins which are sent to people who have opted into our e-bulletin mailing lists:

Third Sector E-bulletin
In 2011 we sent out an average of 3 e-bulletins each month. Starting in 2012, this e-bulletin will be sent out weekly to around 600 e-mail addresses covering community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, funders, national organisations and public sector partners and local politicians.

The bulletin contains news, information and reminders which are likely to be of interest to organisations working in, or with, the third sector in the Falkirk Council area.

We're always looking for relevant, timely content for our e-bulletin and would welcome your contributions. To include something in a future e-bulletin, you can reply to an e-bulletin with your content or simply e-mail it to us using info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk

Volunteering E-bulletin
We started to pilot this in 2011 and will now be sending out monthly Volunteering E-bulletins to those who have signed up to receive our Third Sector E-bulletin and those volunteers who've signed up to receive an e-bulletin. Although targeted mainly at individuals (those volunteering and those considering becoming a volunteer), it's also useful for organisations to see what's happening in volunteering.

This particular bulletin contains news and information for volunteers on, for example, Disclosures, legal rights etc. but it also highlights interesting or urgent volunteering opportunities that we're looking to fill in the Falkirk area. We will also occasionally feature a skills summary for a volunteer looking for something different, or specific, for whom we haven't been able to secure a match. This way, we hope to continue to provide well-placed volunteers for local opportunities.

Mailing System
We use a tried and tested commercial product (Constant Contact) to send out our e-bulletins and to manage our mailing lists so that we can better safeguard your privacy and produce an e-bulletin which is accessible and easy to read. Your privacy is important to us and if, at any time, you want to stop receiving our e-bulletins you simply click on the Unsubscribe link which appears in every e-bulletin. You won't then receive another e-bulletin from us at that e-mail address without your prior permission.

It only takes a few seconds to sign up...
To sign up, simply put your e-mail address in the box above and click on "Go". To find out a bit more about privacy and the Unsubscribe facility, please click on the SafeSubscribe image.
